Trick or treat! This time of year, the quest for candy is the on the mind of the young at heart across the country. Halloween is a cherished rite-of-passage experiences we have, which is why I wanted to do this post. As a kid, I dressed up as everyone from E.T. to Chewbacca. Looking back at Halloween pictures from my childhood is nothing short of a pop culture time capsule, one that is reflective of the era’s hottest trends in movies and television. For this latest Open Thread, I want you to share which characters from movie and TV you dressed up as, the good, the bad, and the just plain weird. Also, feel free to use the comments as a forum for all of your costume memories. (Yeah, I remember how the mouth holes on the plastic masks would cut my tongue too).
